Are you full of expectation as you look over the horizon, stretching your viewpoint to locate the sailboat? If we fail to allow ourselves the function of 'feeling' as it bubbles up within our chests, then we will be unable to function in the 'outer world' because we will be like lopsided over-emotional wrecks! It is imperative that we develop a healthy way of connecting to our Emotional Body so that we act from a place of wholeness, as opposed to acting from a place of unhealthy co-dependence or emotional neediness. Cancer is the sign most related to 'nurturing' and most connected to the "Mother" Archetype. So, this New Moon being in Cancer is all about really finding out:

This Lunation is about that little wounded child inside your Soul that is still crying out for attention! Our Emotional Bodies hold on to every thing that every happened to us, so if there is anything that you, as a CHILD, needed but were not given, NOW is the time to claim that for yourself! Regardless of whether you lived in the 'ideal' family or a 'dysfunctional' family, some needs may not have been properly met - no parent or set of parents is ever 'perfect' however loving they may have been, so be non-judgemental as you look back into your early childhood to consider if there are any unresolved emotional issues that need acknowledging (hence the beginning of healing). It's in letting go of our emotional baggage that we will be more able to fully express our Inner Divine Child that is shown by our Sun Sign (whom we'll play with next month with the Leo New Moon!). So, let's do some deep soul-archeological digging this month in order to free up our Happy Cosmic Child! Time For A Deep Soul Healing! Consider that this Archetype as a whole (meaning the zodiacal sign of Cancer, the planetary ruler being The Moon, and the 4th House in the natal chart), reveals a great deal about your 'roots' & familial ancestry, your DNA (both physical and spiritual), your 'past lives,' your Home (past & present), as well as the contents of your subconscious mind, all neatly tucked away in a very deep place of yourself commonly referred to as YOUR SOUL.
