What Is Your Sign?
Shattering the Astrological Stereotypes

How often have you been asked,
"What's your sign?"
When we give our answer, we immediately think we are one of
a mere 12 personality types, limiting our concept of ourselves (or of
another person if we were the one asking).
Well, hold on because you are in for a HUGE SHOCK!
You and everyone else on the planet, are ALL 12 'signs' all
wrapped up into one magnificent human being!
Yes, that's right, you are NOT just ONE SIGN but
ALL TWELVE SIGNS
simultaneously!
And you thought you could figure someone out just be that simple line of,
"What's your sign?"
Shocked yet? GOOD!
I want to shatter the astrological stereotypes and
introduce you to the world of 'real' Astrology.
Astrology is an ageless (ancient, modern & futuristic) science/art
in which we correlate the energy of the Cosmos to who we are as
individual beings. The old belief that we are at the mercy of the planets’
movements is the second stereotype I want to shatter. As everything
natural in our Universe is ‘connected’ as part of the web of life, it goes
without saying that there is a relationship between ourselves, as part of
Nature, and all planetary and galactic bodies in space. However, we do
have Free Will enabling us to CHOOSE in as conscientious (or in as
unaware) a manner as possible, what attitude and therefore
what outcome we will manifest in our personal lives.
For example, we would look at the current ‘sign’ the Sun may be at in this
moment (say Taurus during the month of May), and then compare it with
our theme may be and whether it’s day or evening. Needless to say, we
have a choice as to what we will wear – colors, style and type – just by
knowing what the event’s general qualities are. Get the picture?
Returning to the first old stereotype I wish to shatter, you are not JUST an
Aries, or Gemini, or Virgo, etc. but an amazing kaleidoscope of the entire
Zodiacal wheel. The ‘signs’ are actually ‘archetypes’ (energetic collective
models) with which we have been dealing with for many thousands of
years from a psychological perspective. These archetypes represent
different energies that lay dormant (or quite awake) within the collective
unconsciousness. At the moment of our earthly birth, a ‘snapshot’ of the
skies is taken and that is what we call a ‘natal chart.’ This chart is a wheel
which holds all 12 signs or archetypes within itself as a mathematical
composition of our potentialities. It is like getting ‘stamped’ with a specific
and unique signature which belongs to only that person. It is the promise
of a unique gift, which I call Genius, inherent in the person. All 12 signs are
present in various weights and measures, as are all 10 planets
(including the Sun and Moon)
because we are a wonderful expression of the Cosmos itself!
So now, when you are asked, “What’s your sign?” you know to answer:
“I am a unique blend of all 12 signs; therefore, you will have to get to know
me day by day instead of pigeonholing me into just one category! Take
your time, because I am special and unlike anyone you will ever meet!”
Have I shattered a couple of astrological stereotypes?
